Dew on blades of grass,
Fog lifting, eyes opening-
Rising with the sun.

A beginner’s mind,
A journey to excellence-
Never stop learning.

Bringing what you have,
Exchanging goods with neighbors-
A win-win for all.

Storm clouds rolling in,
Halting the day’s outdoor plans-
The Earth says, “Just Be.”

Sticky toes, big eyes
Peeking through the window pane-
Rain frog taunts the cat.

So much busy-ness
With few business goals obtained-
Day of distractions.

Fearless warriors
Fighting to save Mother Earth-
Left empty-handed.

Head up in the clouds,
With feet still firmly grounded-
Modern daydreamer.

Surge of energy,
Setting the tone for the week-
Monday morning art.
