Looking to the sky, Running from the drip, drop, drip- Pup discovers rain.

Water rushing down, Shower cap pulled over ears- Personal rain storm.

Twirling overhead, Colors shielding rain and sun- Umbrella in hand.

Thunderous howling, A plea to open the door- Dog barking in rain.

Storm clouds rolling in, Halting the day’s outdoor plans- The Earth says, “Just Be.”

Earth sighs with relief, Flowers rise toward the heavens- Gentle, soaking rain.

Flowers bow their heads, As trees sacrifice their leaves. Gaia prays for rain.

Drops sound like marbles. Rumbles of thunder reverb. Tin roof in the rain.

Torrential downpour. Quenching the thirst of the Earth. Liquid renewal.

Still a vacation. Even if it’s pouring rain. Nature’s water park.
