Dormant, yet alive, Storing energy for spring- Rich soil under frost.

Warm and cozy days, Weekend of hibernation- Back to work I go.

Round and round he goes, Rooting under woolen fleece- Terrier nesting.

Halos from head lights, Visibility, 2 feet- Dense fog warning.

In quiet stillness My soul is calm and content- My world is at peace.

Stalking the world from on high. Fearless predator- House cat in picture window.

Wagging tails, perked ears, Frolicking in dewey grass- Terriers at play.

Pure, unfiltered joy, Hearts of gold and diamond eyes- Special gifts, indeed!

Ups and downs all week, The weekend got turned sideways- Fresh start tomorrow.

Brass, copper and wood, Waltzing with old man winter- Wind chime symphony.
