Golden egg layer- Followed, adored, and revered- The sole matriarch.

Asters, Goldenrod, Sunflowers, Black-Eyed Susans- Bees at the buffet.

Gathering supplies- A bee’s work is never done. Winter approaches.

Seeking the center, Peeling back all the layers- Pungent, sweet release.

Family gathered ’round. Unconditional love here- Grateful for them all.

Plenty to go ’round. Neighbors sharing the bounty- Homegrown sustenance.

Heightening senses, Sparkles added to all things. Beauty, the new norm.
