Cool breeze in the air, The dawn sky winks “good morning” To the rising sun.

A void in my soul- 5 days, no haikus written. My pen awakens.

Five o’clock howling, Puppy is ready to play- Nature’s alarm clock.

Early morning haze, with dew-covered consciousness- Where is my coffee?

Speak your truth out loud- No hesitation, no fear. Spread your wings and fly!

Dew on blades of grass, Fog lifting, eyes opening- Rising with the sun.

Aroma travels, Awakening my senses- Fresh-ground coffee brews.
