~High Alert~

Tail swishing, ears perked, Peeking through the closed curtains- Curious kitty.

Cardinals chirping, The cool wind greets the warm sun-The day calls my name.

Song birds are chirping- A light rain nourishing Earth- A hug from nature.

Solstice has arrived, Holding true to what we love- New seasons ahead.

Last sprinkles of rain, Birds emerge with chirping songs- Calm after the storm.

Sleeping, traveling- Chaotic dreams ensuing… “MEOW” in my ear!

Chirping near and far, A cacophony of sounds- Sunrise serenade.

Ginger, bergamot, Cinnamon, turmeric, cloves- Mixed with raw honey.

Golden egg layer- Followed, adored, and revered- The sole matriarch.

Asters, Goldenrod, Sunflowers, Black-Eyed Susans- Bees at the buffet.
